Exercise In Carlton –
At Blakehurst Chiropractic
Due to the sedentary nature of work, people have a tendency to develop weak core, glutes and back and that in turn creates musculoskeletal pains and chronic illnesses like heart diseases, diabetes and other health related illnesses. Our experienced chiropractor has a comprehensive exercise program that can help with aches and injuries or simply just getting fit and active again.
Rehabilitative exercises
Musculoskeletal based pains are usually associated with an imbalance in muscles in the body. The purpose of rehabilitative exercises is to strengthen weak muscles to restore balances in the body.
Once diagnosed, we will apply approaches including spinal manipulation, rehabilitative exercises, or a combination of these to get you out of pain.
In some cases, we will also give nutritional advice to aid in recovery and to manage weight, as weight plays a major factor in chronic pains.
Common areas that requires rehabilitative exercises:
- Core muscles (Transverse abdominis muscle)
- Gluteus muscles
- Rotator cuff muscles
- Back muscles (between the shoulder blades)
- Knee muscles
Our experienced team provides dedicated one-on-one care using the latest restorative care and exercise techniques to complement your recovery process. We cater for every level of fitness and/or ability and will work with you to develop a tailored exercise recovery plan that complements any existing procedures you may have.
If you feel weakness in any of these areas or suffer from pains and aches or are recuperating from recent surgery, recovering from a recent muscular injury, or have joint mobility problems then you may need a rehabilitative exercise program to help strengthen those areas.
